Very Accurate Tuner that won't Marr the Head Stock of your favorite guitar

I recently purchased a Peterson Strobo Clip tuner. After reading reviews from other Sweetwater patrons, it was obvious the Peterson Clip on tuner was an accurate and very reliable tuner. After using it for several weeks now I've gotten used to the rotating strobe feature and can tune my acoustic guitars as quickly as with my old, less accurate tuners. I use the acoustic guitar "Sweetened" setting.
As important to me as the accurate tuning, I really like the padded protection in the clamping area of the tuner. I noticed abrasion occurring on the head stock of my OM 28E. I tracked the source of the abrasion to the tuner clamp on my older clip-on tuner (see the attached picture). After noticing the abrasion from the tuner, I was more careful when clamping the tuner to the head stock of my guitars. With Peterson tuner the entire clamping area is protected by soft rubber wrap.
So now, with the Peterson Strobe Clip on tuner, I can clip the tuner on the guitar without worrying about marring the head stock finish and know I'm getting a more accurate tuning, to within 1 thousandth of a semitone (0.1 cent).

What a Great Tuner!

This is the best clip-on tuner on the market IMO. Lots of options and settings to choose from and easy to use! I highly recommend it!

Accurate Tuner

This is my first "Strobe" clip-on type tuner, and the reason I bought it was for adjusting the intonation on my guitars and the price was very reasonable for a strobe type tuner. My other standard clip-on style tuners seemed to have trouble syncing in on the 12th fret octave. This one has no problem sensing all octaves and positions. It works as advertised.

The most accurate tuner

You can't get a more accurate tuner than this. Sure, it costs more than most. But it's worth it. The quality and features are second to none. The stroboscopic view makes it so easy to tune. I only use this tuner and my Strobostomp pedal.

Unbelievable!

I just replaced the bridge on my bass, I have 2 other tuners - one clip-on, one pedal. I was having the hardest time getting the intonation set, always sharp or flat but never where I wanted it to be.

I'd been debating on a "strobe" tuner, but didn't want to pay the price. Well I fortunately got a gift and decided to use it to get a strobe tuner.

I tried tuning my bass (which I thought was pretty much there) and to my surprise I was WAY OFF. So then I decided to try to adjust my intonation. All I can say is I will NEVER USE a non strobe tuner again! I was able to adjust the bridge almost perfectly (slightly sharp, I can't get it to COMPLETELY stop - but its barely, ever so slightly moving). This bass has never been this "IN TUNE" since I've owned it. With precision machine heads, I believe its possible to get a PERFECT tune!
